Pay Per Click Advertising is an Important Component to the Marketing of Your Company
Picture yourself sitting down at your computer on Google’s homepage. You are about to research a place to take a trip over the winter break. Upon entering your favourite Caribbean destination you are taken to a Google search page with paid and organic search results. Across the top of the page and down the right hand side there is are a number of short advertisements for deals and destinations on other sites. Time and time again you see that Expedia.ca comes up either first or second and that gets you thinking. How can I do this for my company?
The results we are talking about here are all paid advertising. Google has a platform called Google Analytics which allows you to create and have advertisements displayed on the Google search page. This is commonly referred to as Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising because each time someone clicks on your ad, you are charged by Google. This is quite an effective form of advertising as the majority of people use Google, and will therefore be exposed to your advertisement.
Obtaining PPC training is a wise idea if you are part of the marketing team for your company. This way you can conduct all of the PPC advertising in house which will cut your costs and allow you to change it whenever you feel it is necessary.
